Author Submission Criteria & Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in being featured in our Bahamian Authors Directory. Our Directory Registration process is easy and we get you listed and your books circulating for the world to see. BooksByBethel.com showcases family-friendly content in printed books as well as eBooks. To the best of our ability, this platform will not promote profanity, blasphemy, blood & gore, murder, paranormal romance, vampires, horror, the occult, pornography, erotica, sexually explicit content, stories that promote violence, perversions, bad girl & thug life and so forth.
Content Approval
Content submitted to this site is approved at the site admin's discretion. Books not fitting the mentioned criteria can be removed from the site without notification.
Directory Registration Required Items
Authors interested in being listed in our directory must complete and submit the form below. Once accepted, we will require:
- Your author photo (not a group photo).
- Author bio approx. 300 words where possible.
- Listing of the published book(s) along with links to them whether online or the names of local vendors.
- Genre or category for the book to be listed in.
- Mockups of books (optional, at an additional fee. More on this below).
Basic Listing Cost
The cost for listing on this site requires a small one-time fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). We encourage you to check and re-check your submission as there is a fee of $25.00 to make adjustments. (This takes time and while we want you to shine, Booksbybethel.com does not have staff dedicated to making adjustments).
Marketing 101 - Get More Visibility
We'd like to help you to drive more traffic to your books. The search engines can help you do that when you optimize book mockups on your author page. By this simple move you are alerting the search engines that you want to be found and once found, you direct your customers to your books to seal your purchase. The more books and links you have on your page (without spamming), the more likely you will be found by the search engines and readers alike.
Cost to Add Mockups
To provide further author exposure, we have recently introduced new opportunities to help you to become more visible. You are encouraged to place mockups of your book on your author page. These will be optimized to assist search engines in locating you and your books.
- 1-4 books $25.00 ea.
- 5-9 books $20.00 ea.
- 10- 15 books $15.00 ea.

Get Featured on Our Home Page
The more you're seen, the more you're registered in the minds of potential readers, and the greater opportunity you have to introduce them to your fabulous books. Being a featured author gives you a position of prominence on our landing page. At a low fee of $99.00 per year, you can be sure to have your front seat reserved for less than $9.00 per month or 27 cents per day. We will link your author photo directly to your author page which will also have a link to your online sales channel.
