Bahamian author Dr. Richard Pinder was known for his outstanding administrative abilities while serving in ministry for over thirty years. Pastor Rich as he was fondly called, authored several books, including Mobilizing Human Resources, Leadership Transition, Integrity, Inspiration- The Hidden Source of Leadership, Redeemed and Justified, and Understanding The Process of Purpose. Dr. Pinder was a Bible teacher, leadership consultant, lecturer, administrator, counselor, and advisor who served in the capacity of fellowship pastor at Bahamas Faith Ministries. He was also Sr. Vice President of Bahamas Faith Ministries International, headquartered in Nassau, Bahamas, alongside Dr. Myles Munroe.

Dr. Pinder, a sought-after international speaker, served as an advisor to several national and international ministries. In addition to being a founding member of Bahamas Faith Ministries International, Dr. Pinder was a founding trustee of the Third World Leadership Association (ITWYLA), a group of world leaders devoted to the education and development of third world nations.

Dr. Pinder held Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Sociology and Social Work from Oral Roberts University, a Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Kentucky, a Masters of Divinity, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology.

Dr. Pinder was married to Pastor Sheena. The couple has two children, Richard Pinder Jr. and Talia Marie.
