Bahamian author Kaynell Greene Gould has a passion for preserving the heritage of the Bahamas and has captured the essence of a generation of people considered to be peace-loving and gentle through her book Emerald Isles of the Azure Seas. These elderly persons, whom she calls aged ones, were born and raised throughout the islands of The Bahamas, the country of her birth. The stories have been cleverly told through the eyes of one character, who takes her readers on a journey through the life and times of a generation of industrious people who laid the rich foundation for upcoming generations to build upon.

A banker by profession, Mrs. Gould has served in the industry for approximately 34 years. She is an engaging motivational speaker and minister of the gospel who has served in various Christian ministries throughout her lifetime. Mrs. Gould currently serves as an Elder at The Embassy International Ministry in Nassau Bahamas. She is the mother of three adult children, one son Jeriel and two daughters, Keturah and Jhanae, and the grandmother of four.

Emerald Isles of the Azure Seas can be found in the Bahamas at All Seasons Gift Center in Palmdale.
